Your ceremony? Well that’s about how it feels.

It’s the rarest opportunity to gather your tribe and share something universally joyful – a celebration of love! Done right, it becomes the emotional springboard for everything that follows, from the first happy tears, to the very last dance.

Your ceremony can be funny, it can be romantic, it can be deeply moving. In fact, on my watch it’ll be all those things and more! The only non-negotiable is that it fits you like a glove.

Your wedding ceremony is written from scratch. No templates, no packages – just a one-of-a-kind non-religious celebration that’s brimming with personality and warmth.

And your story is what brings it all to life.

Together, we’ll work out how to celebrate the start of your marriage in a way that feels meaningful yet natural. It’s a collaboration but I promise, the heavy lifting is all mine!

With 10 years of celebrant life under my belt, I’ll be your expert, your guide, your storyteller. And when the big day arrives, and you’re standing, nervously gazing into each other’s eyes, I’ll also be the safest pair of hands.

book

I charge £1200 for Weddings, paid in 3 equal instalments:

£400 when you book
£400 when you receive your ceremony script
£400 the week of the ceremony. Travel is charged on top.

I’ll provide helpful hints and tips to kick-start your ceremony conversations – from reading suggestions and ring exchange wordings, to advice on tackling those all-important vows! I’m on hand to offer any support you need. If there’s something you’re keen to include in your ceremony, such as paying tribute to your culture or heritage, I’d love to hear about it.

Three months before your wedding, we’ll get together to plan your ceremony in detail. You’ll be sent a questionnaire beforehand to collect all the easy bits. This includes the key people involved and how you’d like to be announced at the end of the ceremony etc. But my main focus will on the two of you – on your story, your view of marriage and the reason you decided to say ‘I do’.

With every wedding I write, I’m aiming to nail it first time! But I’m not precious. So if there are things you want to add, change or re-work, that’s fine. We’ll tweak it until it’s perfect.

rehearse

Having a rehearsal is optional. Not every venue can accommodate it and not every couple wants one. But I think it’s a great opportunity to run through the technical parts of the ceremony, freeing you up on the day to focus on each other and on enjoying the moment.

On the big day, I’ll arrive early to make sure your ceremony all runs smoothly. I’ll coordinate with the venue, the photographer, the wedding planner and any readers or musicians. I’ll be on hand to offer pep talks to everyone in the wedding party and of course to reassure you both. And finally, I’ll conduct your personalised ceremony which will perfectly set the tone for the rest of your happy day…and the many happy years beyond!
